| HORSE RADISH
Horse radish has a high vitamin C and sulphur ethereal oils content, which makes it a valuable healing and fragrant plant. We prepare two variants of horse radish, namely deli horse radish with the addition of mayonnaise and apple horse radish with the addition of fresh apples that give it a mild and pleasant taste. Horse radish has been present in the Slovene cuisine for centuries and is always served with Easter ham and Easter eggs. Of course it can be served throughout the year, because we like horse radish with cooked meat and ham (slices of cold meats), as well as in sandwiches.
